Community Rights

Unless your rights have been specifically taken from you by a court of law, people with mental health challenges enjoy the same rights in the community as everyone else. We have the right to make contracts and to spend our money as we wish. We have the right to shop in any store we choose. There are several laws protecting the rights of people with disabilities in the community in addition to the ADA  - one such law is Section 504 which protects a number of different rights.
